This RFE and 17529 (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=17529) seem to address very similar needs. It would be great if there could be a single place to selectively migrate filters, libraries, commands, etc. as this RFE requests and the editor and other preferences as 17529 does.
As more developers on the team move to RDP we are finding it harder and harder to keep their development environments synchronized. IBM i Connection settings (LIBL, Initial Command, current library, etc) need to match for all developers as well as compile settings, filters, and user actions. A means to export/import or refresh from a shared repository would REALLY help.
This RFE is consistent with our strategy and product roadmap and will be under consideration for a future release. Status has been updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
And filters, too!
This RFE is consistent with our strategy and product roadmap and IBM is continuing to evaluate.
Right click on your connection name, and the menu should show an EXPORT option.
