This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

During the migration of RFE to IDEA's we determined that the Object Table view improvements meant we could mark this delivered, giving users a quick way to copy members from the object table to a destination, without prompting each command.
As for the caching of the commands, there are settings in the preferences that allow caching of CL Commands:
Open the preferences, and type 'cache' -> Select the IBM i -> Cache preferences. The default value is the most accurate, not the fastest value. (You can also see if you have checked the disable caching).
Our team has created an internal Jira to address the drag and drop aspect of this request. We agree that the Remote Systems Explorer drag and drop function should be improved.
Fortra Development Team
This has not been delivered though it is marked as "delivered".
When I drag a source member onto a source file in the Remote Systems view, the CPYSRCF command is prompted every time, still today in RDi 9.8. Dragging multiple members prompts the command for every member. Dragging one or more members from one file to another should not have a need to prompt anything -- just copy the member(s).
The Object Table now includes a quicker way to copy from one file to another without any command prompts. Create the quick filter for the files you wish to copy, place a 3 on the first record and use alt-f1 to repeat for all members, then press enter and change the file or library, or member names, any of these are now a simple edit field.
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for Power Systems
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for Power Systems
This RFE will be under consideration for a future release. Status has been updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
This RFE is consistent with our strategy and product roadmap and IBM is continuing to evaluate.
