Creating SQL Statements from an existing SQL statement in the SQL Results view under Data Perspective

Looking for a way where an already executed SQL statement can Re-Execute and/or retrieve an already executed statement itself in a SQL Script. I know I can save all my SQL statements in a script, but what about if I have not saved them and want to reengineer from the executed statement itself. For example I am executing multiple SQL statements and have deleted the previous statements and then suddenly want any of my previous executed statement to re-run or the statement itself.

Will nice to have such option and hope everybody will appreciate these functionalities.

Please find the attached screen shot document for further details.

Thanks & Regards
Dibs

Use Case:

Open Data Perspective
Connect to a Database
Open New SQL Scripts
Write SQL Statements and execute it
In the SQL Results view displayed the status and operation and the results output

Now need a new functionality in the SQL Results view on right click of the mouse after selecting an executed statement (Operation) ?Generate SQL statement? which will output the script in new SQL script and/or option ?Execute? that will re-execute the statement again.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for Power Systems

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for Power Systems

Thank you for submitting the RFE. We have determined that the RFEs should be assigned to the IBM Data Studio team. Unfortunately IBM Data Studio is not on the RFE Community although we recommend you contact tech support for IBM Data Studio to submit the RFE.

The SQL statement can be copy/pasted from the status tab in the Results view.
(Note: you may need to deactivate "Show results in a single tab" to see the Status tab.)
