Disabling Filter from Database Connection Properties remove the Filter Selection Values

Using RBD and RDPi (Ver 8.0)

From the Data Perspective after connecting to an iSeries Database after defining some Filter Criteria for Schemas then disabling the Filter from the Properties of the Database Connection removes all the defined selection criteria. Whereas from the Schemas ? Filter ? Disable filter box checked does not removed the selection criteria, it's only disabled the filter. Not sure whether the functionality is correct or not, if so need to have some more appropriate label, something like Clear Filter/Remove Filter Criteria.

For further details please refer to the attached document.

Thanks & Regards
Dibs

Use Case:

Go to the Data Perspective.
Connect to an iSeries DB2 Database.
Right Click Mouse on Schemas and select Filter.
Uncheck the Disable filter box.
Click the Add button and add some valid Schemas/Library names in the selection value.
Check the meet any condition combo.
Now right click the mouse on Database Connection and select Properties.
Select Default Schema Filter.
Check Disable filter box, click on Apply and OK.
The Schemas filter criteria are gone.

Thank you for submitting the RFE. We have determined that the RFEs should be assigned to the IBM Data Studio team. Unfortunately IBM Data Studio is not on the RFE Community although we recommend you contact tech support for IBM Data Studio to submit the RFE.
