Shared/Team access to Templates and Snippets

We would like the ability to configure and access shared and/or team Templates and Snippets.

Use Case:

To define and access shared/team Templates and Snippets that could be stored on our network somewhere or even the System i IFS. Preferably the developers could still define their own individual Templates/Snippets but also would have access to the shared/team Templates/Snippets stored on the network or IFS.

Our team would like the ability to share many things, including snippets, templates, keyboard settings, preferences.

Who uses CVS anymore? Please support Git (eGit/jGit).
