IBM's Enterprise Identity Mapping (EIM) uses Kerberos authentication and users don't have an IBMi password. Presently, the IBM Navigator for i tool does not support Kerberos authentication. For now, users can still use the older System i Navigator tool that supports Kerberos. IBM has deprecated System i Navigator however, so right now there is now way forward for users of IBM's EIM.
Users of IBM's EIM would access IBM Navigator for i and authenticate automatically using Kerberos.

The Network Authorization Service configuration, a required component to implement Kerberos, would appear not to be present in the IBM Navigator for i product. Unless this functionality has been implemented somewhere differently by IBM, this critical component is definitely required for IBM to complete its goal of implementing all System i Navigator functionality into IBM Navigator for i.
