When using Access for Windows, you can use your mouse to double click elements on the screen such as F-keys at the bottom to perform those functions. With ACS, that ability has been lost. Requesting that the function be mirrored from Access for Windows to ease transition to ACS and speed adoption.
Within an Access for Windows session, double left-click a function key at the bottom of the screen to perform that function.
Within an ACS session, performing the same function currently selects a block of text for a copy/paste operation.
A configuration setting to choose between the functions would be the ideal option. The ability to add a toolbar button to toggle the configuration setting would provide both functions with minimal effort for those that need to switch between them.
