Behavior of STRPCCMD PAUSE(*NO) of ACS

Customer has the following application.

Step1: CPYF FROMFILE(ALIB/MASTERFILE) TOFILE(BLIB/WORKFILE) MBROPT(*REPLACE)
Step2: STRPCCMD PCCMD('C:\DOWNLOAD.BAT') PAUSE(*NO)
Step3: CLRPFM FILE(BLIB/WORKFILE)

* 'C:\DOWNLOAD.BAT' is windows-program which downloads BLIB/WORKFILE from IBM i to PC.

I am in trouble, because usage of the IBM i ACS 5250 emulator in conjunction with the STRPCCMD PAUSE(*NO) parameter behaves differently than the IBM i Access for Windows PC5250 emulator does.
- With IBM i Access for Windows PC5250 emulator, the IBM i OS Interactive Job will remain Inhibited until the command requested by STRPCCMD has completed.
- With IBM i ACS 5250, the IBM i OS Interactive Job will immediately return as soon as the command requested by STRPCCMD is submitted.

With IBM i ACS 5250, actually Step3 is carried out before Step2. Therefore downloading always becomes 0 case.

Customer desired that the IBM i OS Interactive Job remain Inhibited until the command requested by STRPCCMD has completed with IBM i ACS 5250 as well as with IBM i Access for Windows PC5250 emulator.

If customer uses STRPCCMD PAUSE(*YES) parameter, the IBM i OS Interactive Job will remain Inhibited until the command requested by STRPCCMD has completed.
But in this case, it is necessary for a user to return a reply. Customer wants to avoid this use.

    This is a critical problem.
    We have had complaints about this.
    It was necessary to uninstall Access Client Solutions and reinstall Client Access.

    Installation of ACS has to wait till this problem has been solved.
