IBM i Access for Windows Support for Windows 10

We want IBM i Access for Windows to continue using with Windows 10. IBM Client Solutions is not an option because JAVA based.


Use Case:

We want to install any Java-based software on the clients. Moreover, we want to use the Operations navigator with Windows 10. Operations Navigator is not available at IBM client access solutions.

    IBM i Access for Windows uses Java as well - it's just encapsulated and packaged way down in the product. On top of this, it is an ancient version of Java. If your issue with Java is due to the security implications, then Access for Windows is a far, far bigger issue than Client Solutions. At least with Client Solutions, YOU have control over the Java version being used and when it gets updated.

    Due to the need to support a wide variety of client devices in todays world and the continual change that is forced upon application in the Pure Windows installed world, we are not able to deliver this request.
