To be able to submit a BRMS recovery job to batch with selected objects omitted.
When running a BRMS restore or recovery, Id like to be able to omit certain objects, such as log files or journal receivers, but at the same time be able to have this job submitted to batch instead of running as an interactive job.
Currently this is not possible - either you have to select the entire library without omitting any objects and then it can be submitted to batch via F14. If you choose to select your objects in the library and specify objects in the omit field, it cannot be submitted to batch and runs interactively.
The problem being that with very large data bases, the restores can take many hours to complete and sometimes left to run over night. It is not idea to leave the interactive session active indefinitely and it would make sense to have the long running restore run as a batch job.

This function already exists...you have to select the 7 but hit PF14 and NOT enter...you will then get prompted to add your omits and then it will be submitted.
