Ability to configure management port used by integrated application server.


Use Case:

Integrated application server uses the local connector feature to enable Web Admin GUI to manage applications running in the server. The problem is that the local connector feature uses an ephemeral port that cannot be configured. A new way should be implemented so that any ports that are used to manage the server may be configured.

    This RFE's Headline was changed after submission to reflect the headline of an internal request we were already considering, but will now track here.

    IBM agrees with the request and a solution appears to be desirable and feasible. IBM intends to provide a solution. However, IBM's plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.
