This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a high priority requirement that is important to be addressed because it's second nature for all SQL applications -- it is important for ACS adoption.

If nothing else bring "SQL Assist/Prompt...F4" into the ACS SQL Scripts tool.
I start the new ACS SQL script tool then open the green screen STRSQL command and use the prompt to see my field list, text, etc.
This should all be available in the ACS SQL Scripts tool.
Attachment (Use case): Shows an example of invoking a list of columns inline by using the table name and a ".". Could be invoked using an alias as well. My example severely lacks formatting but is provided none the less for a visual. The column selected in the combo box would return the column name inline in the SQL and place the cursor at the end of the column name.
Attachment (Use case): Shows an example where all columns are shown in window on the right by highlighting and right clicking the table. (Could be invoked in any user friendly manner)
