Dear IBM team,
the Ansible Collection ibm.power_hmc lacks a secure way to provide secrets at the moment.
Could you please add native support for secrets lookup from environment variables, Ansible extra_vars and AWX/AAP secrets? This makes the usage of this collection much more secure.
Looking forward to your development!
Kind regards
Tom Kretschmann

Could you please elaborate on how are you expecting to this to be enabled?
Are you considering to pass this secret/env to some module of power_hmc ?
Can you share an exmple for similar approach on any other ansible collection or module.
Generally in ansible there is a way to fetch the env or secret as below utilizing ansible vault,
lookup('pipe', 'VAULT_PASSWORD_FILE=path/to/pass_file ansible-vault view path/to/vault_encrypt.file')
