PowerHA doesn't currently support integration with any current IBM monitoring solutions

PowerHA currently has no integration filesets to with with standard monitoring software IBM provides, natively Tivoli NetCool.

This makes it cumbersome and complicated to have cluster events monitored from a central authority that dispatches help desk tickets, and/or invokes 2nd level support groups for cluster problems.

Secondly, the existing PowerHA product event hooks provide no way to distinguish cluster generated events versus user initiated cluster events.

    We have multiple ways to integrate with other products like SNMP traps and externalizing events and so on.
    We tried to have a discussion with other teams to add more control, but there was no interest.
