We are using PowerSC for AIX patch management. We want to have the following features in the PowerSC GUI to have better reporting:
1. The PowerSC GUI should show in a percentage form - how many patches are currently applied and how many are pending. For example if an LPAR requires 10 patches out of which 5 are applied, the PowerSC GUI should show (5/10) and percentage as 50% patches applied. We need this for compliance and reporting perspective.
2. The PowerSC GUI should show which patch requires a reboot and which one does not. This is critical as it is easier to apply patches which do not require a reboot (without a downtime).
3. The PowerSC GUI should provide an option to export the patch status report as PDF and excel format.

1. Getting the percentage will require some additional work in TNC implementation. We will look more closely at this request and see what we can do to potentially add it to the 2024 roadmap.
2. The "reboot required" feature is already available. If you run verify, it shows the status of "compliant/noncompliant/reboot required". TNC has the capability to reboot taht agent from the TNC server.
3. The ability to export a patch status report as a PDF and/or excel spreadsheet is a good suggestion and we will consider adding it to the 2024 roadmap.
