IBM PowerSC should provide option to do selective apply and undo rules from a compliance profile

The IBM PowerSC compliance automation feature is used to apply hardening rules. Currently the way it works is -  we create a security profile and apply the complete profile on the LPAR. There is no way to selectively apply only few rules from the profile. Similarly when we UNDO a profile, we need to UNDO the entire profile and there is no option to selectively UNDO few rules only. The selective apply and UNDO feature will have the following benefits:

1. Many times, after applying a profile the compliance check fails as someone would have manually made some modifications on the LPAR. To fix this we need to either manually fix it or re-apply the entire profile. By providing selective apply option we can re-apply only the required rules and not the entire profile.
2. After applying a profile, if something is not working, the customer can UNDO the entire profile. If we provide selective UNDO functionality then the customer need not UNDO the entire profile. This can also help in debugging  as it will be easier to find the rule which is causing the problem.
3. It will help in managing security profiles. The customer need not create multiple profiles and keep track of rules in each profile. Rather customer can have one master copy and selectively apply the rules from it based on each LPAR's requirements.
