vNIC redundant backing devices in each VIOS

In the latest version of PowerVC 2.0.2.1 it is possible during deployment to select two redundant SR-IOV networks. With that PowerVC will create two vNIC backing devices, one in each VIO (assuming two VIOS).

Especially CSI customers want to have more redundancy in the system, by having both redundant networks as backing device in each VIOS. That means in a two VIOS configuration, PowerVC should create in total four backing devices.

Maybe this is could be a selectable option in the deploy dialog or maybe this could be an option that could be configured using powervc-config.

Thanks for the RFE, This can be achieved now in PowerVC if we set a proper port label in backend for each port in the vios.

Heads-up. Test the failover by shut port on switch side, I was seeing 7 to 9 seconds. That is acceptable for a number of folks. Better is non-redundant vNICs and build bonds at VM level. Much faster failover.
