Thanks for the feedback! While it is certainly our goal to provide several features in the PowerVC GUI, one of the big benefits of building off of open technologies like OpenStack is that we can take advantage of all the capabilities it provides. We had some users that were looking for this capability to drive their own logic, so we enabled the APIs to create snapshots and leverage the power of the OpenStack APIs in an almost "immediate" fashion. We will consider looking at doing this on the GUI as well in time. Thanks again for the feedback!
