PowerVC to allow deploying Boot Volume on distinct disk system than the image

PowerVC should allow deploying a Virtual Machine on a disk storage system distinct than the one where the image used for deploy resides on.
Today, it works for all but the Boot Volume.
There is no choice for Boot Volume of the deployed Virtual Machine. It is a clone of the image volume on the same disk storage system.
I guess that, today, FlashCopy is used to deploy the Boot Volume. It should be possible for PowerVC to use pprc, if available of course, to deploy the Boot Volume on a distinct disk stroage system.
