PowerVC services/binaries/config/logs - owner by non-root user

Once PowerVC is running, if it does not change RHEL OSI settings, does the product need to run as root?
It is difficult to obtain root access to production systems, so collecting logs, performing backups, etc is extremely difficult to do when the product is using root ownership and tight permissions on confg files, commands and logs.

PowerVC has a security model requiring elevated access to root user to perform basic product administration. It should not be required to compromise the security of the entire host to perform PowerVC admin by PowerVC running as root. Please consider management of PowerVC via a non-root user.
