Copy / paste does not work in noVNC session for IBM i console in the IBM Cloud

In other IBM i emulators (PCOMM, iAccess) the user is able to copy text out of and paste onto the command line within the session. The text is available on the users workstation (Windows, MAC). This allows copying/pasting text out of / onto the command line and copying text such as error messages when working with support. Copying and pasting locally inside the same console session does work. For example, highlight the text using the mouse and cursor from you workstation. This puts a yellow box around the text. Use ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste the test inside the same console session. This works fine. However, the text is not available in the external clipboard to be pasted into a Notepad++ document, etc. Copying from another application on the workstation does not allow pasting into the noVNC console either. We have tried with current versions of Firefox and Chrome browsers on Windows 10 and Mac OS.

AIX consoles in the same cloud environment are able to copy and paste by highlighting the text and right clicking. So similar functionality is available for that OS. The IBM i solution doesn't necessarily need to be ctrl+c / ctrl+v, we just need a way to copy and paste.

Ignore what I put in the PMR ID field. Source of this was Salesforce case TS003153430.
