Automate Post operations of Image deployment or include with Image deployment process

I tried to deploy AIX images using PowerVC UI (in the Images tab, select image and Deploy), deployed a new LPAR successfully. But we need to perform few steps once the deployment is completed and LPAR is activated.

a. Change the hostname/LPAR name. For the deployment process, you colllect IP address using UI, you could use hostname of that IP address (from DNS or hosts file) as deployed LPAR name and hostname of the OS. Otherwise system admin need to change this manually using HMC UI if they want

b. Not setting IP to the deployed LPAR. One need to assign IP manually by logon using HMC terminal and also need to change the hostname

c. Clean up of source LPAR's "Defined State" devices like en/ent/et/hdisk/fcs/fscsi etc is requierd in the deployed LPAR.

d. Even after the IP is set, RMC still not connected. Need RMC cleanup like re-initialize RMC and restart RMC (/usr/sbin/rsct/install/bin/recfgct (to delete all old RMC records and re-initialize)

e. boot list is not correct and need to recreate boot image (otherwise - errpt entry - BFE4C025 0905053514 P H sysplanar0 UNDETERMINED ERROR)

    Based on the description, you have a corrupted image. PowerVC will run the activation engine to address these issues but if the boot list was corrupt, then the AE would not run correctly.
    Please pursue as a PMR through support channels.
