CINDER driver on PowerVC 2.1.1 with ALUA

Hello, 

We're going to set up a POC on our POWERVC infra to provision LUNS in our Hitachi disk array, thanks to the CINDER driver in version 14 embedded in POWERVC version 2.1.1.
In the doc, I read that "You cannot use Asymmetric logical unit access (ALUA)", but we need it, to be able to choose an optimal and a non-optimal path. Are Hitachi or IBM planning to upgrade CINDER in the near future to include this feature? 

Then, is there a "best practice" procedure for migrating AIX LPARs that are already in NPIV but through zoning and lun masking done outside POWERVC?
