Add a provision to delete attached volumes in VM deletion process

We use PowerVC version 1.2.2.2. With current level of PowerVC, VM deletion process does not delete additionally attached volumes to VM. User needs to separately delete those extra data volumes.

Request to add a provision to optionally choose to delete additionally attached data volumes to VM when user deletes a VM. In GUI, by default, un-check this option and user should be able to check/select/enable this option if he/she wants to delete additionally attached data volumes to VM.

When deleting VMs, you now have the capability to optionally select to delete all volumes, or just boot volumes. Thanks for the suggestion!

IBM will consider this request for inclusion in a future release of PowerVC. Note that the substance of this request is at variance with current OpenStack directions so this request may never be included in PowerVC.
