PowerVC 1.3.1 introduced support for Infoblox for setting DNS names per https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSXK2N_1.3.2/com.ibm.powervc.standard.help.doc/powervc_configuring_dns_authority_hmc.html. You can also cloud-init to change the hostname if you want to change the default behavior.
