Multiple Shared Processor Pools for each Logical Partition

Shared Processor Pools are useful for limiting the total CPU usage of a group of partitions. Partitions can be grouped by type (production and test for example), by customer, or to take advantage of subcapacity licensing.
Difficulties arise when a partition belongs to more than one group, because at present you cannot assign that partition to more than one pool.

    We have reviewed the amount of development and test resources required to provide this enhancement and at this time we would not be able to provide this change in a timely manner so closing this request.

    This is under consideration for a future release of PowerVM
