Option to use vSwitch VEPA mode as default

Currently PowerVM creates any new virtual switch (vSwitch) in VEB mode by default. To change the mode to VEPA an installed and running VIOS including an active RMC connection is required. In our environment for security reasons all internal traffic between LPARs of a given system has to be routed through an external switch. To save a significant amount of time and effort the configuration of a large number of IBM Power Scale-out servers needs an option to establish a vSwitch in VEPA mode upfront. The HMC interface should allow to set the virtual switch mode to VEPA even before any VIO server has been defined and installed.

Doesn't the following command add a VEPA switch ?

    chhwres -r virtualio -m managed-system -o a --rsubtype vswitch --vswitch virtual-switch -a "switch_mode=VEPA"
