VM Recover Manager DR Host group currently supports a single svc or storwise storage cluster because VM Recovery manager Host group is unable to create consistency group on more than one svc cluster.
Host group support for multiple svc cluster is major use case for us.

    Workgroups in the host groups allows to create separate consistency group at the granularity of WG. So here in the same host group, VMs can get disks from different storages but all VMs of a workgroup should get disks from same storage. 
    However currently WGs are supported only through DR mode currently. Does it satisfy your requirement?

    Unless each site is working as a single clustered SVC, you won't be able to define a consistency group with volumes from multiple SVCs. That's an SVC limitation.

    Just to add more information for this request...

    For Purpose of Application HA redundancy within site, we allocate volumes from two storages (FS9200) for LPARs/VMs hosting critical applications to ensure storage high availability but we are unable to integrate these critical VMs with VM recovery manager HADR cluster..
