The ksysrppmgr command should be able to adjust the available resources on the managed hosts using the current HMC (V8R8.5.0 and later) POWER® Enterprise Pool capability.

The command currently can only adjust the available memory and processors on a managed system by referencing the HMC and the system it manages.

This presents a challenge for adjusting the available resources on the remote managed systems when the remote HMC is unreachable.

Configuring cross connections between the local HMCs and the remote managed system can be done as a work-around but this can have limitations as well.
