Make IBM i compatible with SMBC AIX

the SMBC does not work with IBM i Use Case: We have set up the SMBC on our AIX servers for exchanges between AIX, Windows, etc. However, the SMBC does not work with IBM i. Would it be possible to make IBM i compatible with SMBC AIX

Qshell df command is "slow" on detect disk space changes

df command under qshell shows a NOT updated percentage of used disk space if the disk space grows fast of get lower . It looks that the df commands "reads" a value that is updated every xx minutes ( maybe 20-30 mins) and it's NOT the current used ...

Allow to mount NFS without a ping response

There are some NFS services (cloud storage gateways, cloud NFS services, etc) that block echo icmp response, so you won't receive an answer from ping. This change could allow to work with more cloud services
