requesting command line feature for destination frame during LKU

Currently you have to manually change a configuration file to determine the destination host for LKU when it cannot be done on the same system. We are requesting a command line option to determine the destination as part of the LKU command itself.

nimadm convert JFS to JFS2 in rootvg

nimadm upgrade with cachefs fails to install efix because it can't expand a filesystem. While installp can expand a filesystem. It would improve the upgrade proccess if emgr could do the same.

Because of the issue with emgr it is neccessary after the upgrade to boot a lpar from from altinst_rootvg and then install the missing efix, so applications cannot start.Without the limitation the lpar would be started with all the fixes and it wo...

In Linux you may specify environment variables for cron jobs in the crontab. Like: SHELL=/bin/bashPATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/binMAILTO=root01 * * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.hourly AIX doesn't have such feature, but it would be good to have it.
