Increase the limit of 32 domains in /etc/resolv.conf for AIX_7 and the resolver nslookup.

Hello, Topic: Increase the limit of 32 domains in /etc/resolv.conf for AIX_7 and the resolver nslookup. Environment: AIX 7200-05-02-2114 I am looking to access all other AIX partitions that are in different network domains. I have therefore placed all the DomainName in the search directive of /etc/resolv.conf file. However, it is limited to 32 domain names. Beyond that the DomainName is not resolved. Example of my /etc/resolv.conf file : nameserver 55.xx.xx.x search yyy.ram xxx.zzz.ram tou.cna.fr test30.cna.fr test41.cna.fr test53.cna.fr There is four potential groups: <*>.ram <*>.<*>.ram <*>.cna.fr test<*>.cna.fr I wish use a wildcard to create one or several groups? THANKS My cust wants use the resolver nslookup with 40 max domains. I am sharing this information: IZ64342: NSLOOKUP DIG NAMED9 VER 9.4.1 LIMITED TO 8 DOMAIN SEARCH LIST Searching has been extended to support 32 domains. Regards, Benoit

We want to use the nslookup resolver with a maximum of 40 domains.

Perhaps a limit of 64 domains would be a good choice.
