CMC to support dual HMC

Currently we can add two HMC for a power hardware, but i guess it actively uses only one. As soon as the active hmc gets disconnects or frame-hmc connection fails, CMC dont display frame(systems) information all over the place. primarly PEP2 application.

    Hi Santhosh,

    Can you please provide details on if this is in context of Enterprise Pools 2.0? Switching from an inactive hmc shouldn't take a day and happens much faster based on different criteria.

    we did configured both HMC but get notification when one hmc to frame disconnect and applications don't seems to use the other hmc. what i heard, cmc switches from one hmc to other hmc once in a day or some other frequency. i think the current experience is not adequate.

    Hi Santhosh,

    CMC does support dual HMC scenario. For dual HMC, you can start cloud connector on both HMCs and CMC should be able to get and display the info from one , even if another hmc is down. In this case, was the inventory not seen even if cloud connector is running on both HMCs and one of the HMCs become inactive?
