This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thanks for the information. The previous login page (prior to HMC V8 R8.6.0 SP1) also used to show the status of systems/serviceable events. There used to be 3 bars which represent system status, Attention LED's and the Serviceable events. The same information is provided in a different manner with the new login page. We do understand that everyone might not take an action, but if they are not interested in the info, then it can ignored and login can be done. But we are still trying to understand how this information can be exploited to harm the systems. Can you please provide some info on "exploiting to harm the systems" part ?
Can you please provide more information on what information in the login page you consider can be used to harm the systems? Please see previous comment as well.
Hi,
We assume that you are referring to the new login page with 860 SP1. The information shown there doesn't show any system name or other credentials. It just highlights whether there are things that need attention. Also, if some one wants to view what are the systems having problems or the serviceable events, they would need to login to the HMC. So can you please provide more information on what information you consider can be used to harm the systems?
Thanks.
