HMC should give a warning message when reducing current configuration resources of stopped LPAR by stealing process

When HMC needs to steal cpu or memory resources from stopped LPARs in order to fullfill a LPM request or a LPAR start operation because there are not enough completely unused ("free") resources in managed system, current configuration of stopped LPAR is changed. Having enabled automatic update of LPAR profile in fact there is a profile change to reflect that configuration adjustment! HMC should give a warning or notification that this configuration change took place so administrator is aware about it and can react upon that fact.

    Hi,

We have evaluated this request and is being considered for long term roadmap to consider adding some audit event or information which indicates the configuration change done internally.

    Thanks.
