vHMC resolution change in ESXi worked for us in vHMC V9R1 vMH01898 after we set the ESXi video memory from 4MB to 32MB.
Today after updating to vHMC V9R2 vMH1892, selecting the 4. entry (1920x1080, ...) leads to a minimal resolution,
selection the 3. entry (1366x768,...) works, but with 32MB memory a resolution of 1920x1080 should be possible.
Maybe a bug in V9R2 ?
Or didn't we get 1920x1080 in V9R1 at all but 1366x768 and this wasn't noticed by us as there is no resolution display in vHMC ?
Hi,
By default for vcenter the resolution is set to 800X600. but user can change the resolution, if needed. You can try the below
1. chhmc -c dispcfg -s enable
2. ctrl + alt + backspace
3. while console restart select the increased resolution like and the screen should use the space appropriately.
Hope this addresses your requirement. Let us know if you have any questions on the same.
Thanks.
