We use the ACS emulator to host PDF print sessions for writing spool file reports to PDF. In Client Access the hosted writer would create PDFs which were automatically oriented to the upright position. (Whether printing Portrait or Landscape) However, ACS uses Transform Services to generate the PDF document. Transform Services does not automatically rotate output into an upright position. Transform Services should be modified to present the PDF document in the upright position, whether printing in Portrait or Landscape.
Our accounting department runs reports throughout the day which are written to PDF. These reports are attached to email and sent to key persons inside and outside of our organization. When the recipients open the PDFs, the PDFs are presented to them rotated 90 degrees off of upright and must then be manually rotated to upright by the recipients.
