Add System TLS (GSKit) support for SERVER_SBS_ROUTING

The option to route user task to a specific system is of great value.
As we see more and more customers moving to using SSL to secure their network traffic, having the ability to route these task also to a specific subsystem is of great value.

Use Case:

Now we have to make off do we want to route users to a specific subsystem or doe we want to secure the remote transactions like ODBC traffic.

IBM believes that the request described has been solved in IBM i 7.5 by adding support for secure servers to the SET_SERVER_SBS_ROUTING procedure and SERVER_SBS_ROUTING view.

IBM agrees with the request and a solution appears to be desirable and feasible. IBM intends to provide a solution. However, IBM's plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.

IBM will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed. Although this may not be such a common need in the SMB market, it may be helpful for larger clients.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a HIGH priority requirement that is important to address.

As we see more and more customers moving to use SSL to secure their network traffic, having the ability to route these task also to a specific subsystem is of great value.

The user needs a way to do something that addresses their need so that the user benefits directly
Probably no work-around, Broad appeal to SMB customers, High business value and marketing appeal  (including strategic, gap in the market)

CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

Just to be clear... TLS is fully supported on IBM i for these interfaces. What is being requested is when a request for one of these enters the system, it is started in a default location (and the TLS handshakes are completed there...) and the administrator would like to move that job to a different subsystem and memory pool. The moving of the job is the ask, the connection is still very much secure with the latest TLS support.

Encryption is very high on the list of any Security Officer. And if the platform needs to be revised, the more secure platform will have an higher ranking and (the lack of) TLS could be the distinguishing factor.

IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating it. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.

We have hundreds of clients connecting via ODBC/JDBC (the QZDASOINIT jobs). To enable us to manage these connections we have been using the SET_SERVER_SBS_ROUTING function to route users into different subsystems and memory pools. These clients no...
