Merged idea
This idea has been merged into another idea. To comment or vote on this idea, please visit IBMI-I-2272 Add System TLS (GSKit) support for SERVER_SBS_ROUTING.

TLS support for SET_SERVER_SBS_ROUTING Merged

We have hundreds of clients connecting via ODBC/JDBC (the QZDASOINIT jobs).

To enable us to manage these connections we have been using the SET_SERVER_SBS_ROUTING function to route users into different subsystems and memory pools.

These clients now require to be moved to secure ODBC/JDBC connections (the QZDASSINIT jobs).

The lack of SSL/TLS support for SET_SERVER_SBS_ROUTING is now preventing us from moving forward with this security requirement.

Use Case:

To view account/billing (sensitive) information.
