IBM Power Ideas Portal

This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Shape the future of IBM!

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

Last use date of folder in System Log

In Content Manager OnDemand for i:
A new System Log message that indicates which Folder was used to submit a query, the metadata / indexes searched for, and maybe the total combined time (CPU seconds & wall-clock seconds) to complete the query etc. etc.

Use Case:

We have hundreds of folders, and we are curious about which ones are being used to perform queries - with an eye to removing inactive ones, and auditing who is using them. Unfortunately, there's no good way to determine which folder was used to perform a query.

IBM i is not the appropriate IBM product for your RFE, so your request is being declined here. Your request needs to be directed to the IBM Content Manager OnDemand team. However, at this time, that team does not have a direct interface for you to submit your request to them.

Neil Parrott, the Offering Manager for Content Manager OnDemand, has copied your information into an internal tool that is used for tracking their enhancement requests. Please directly contact Neil Parrott, the Offering Manager for Content Manager OnDemand -- his e-mail address is nparrott@us.ibm.com. He said that they may require additional information about your request, so sending him an e-mail directly will help to ensure they have full understanding of your request.

Also note that your account representative or techseller should be able to use this link to see your idea and let you know progress: https://hybridcloudunit-internal.ideas.aha.io/ideas.
