Speed up IFS upload function in iACS

Version: 1.1.8.5
I open up IFS for one lpar. I tell it I want to upload from my pc. I have a directory with three 3.8gb binary files which are part of an image catalog.
I started uploading one with the iACS function.
I gave it a 10% head start.
Then I started uploading another using FileZilla. The FileZilla one finished. The iACS was still running.
I started the next one using FileZilla. It too finished. Meanwhile the iACS upload was still less than 61% complete. Dog slow!

Use Case:

Image catalog uploads.

The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a MEDIUM priority requirement that should be addressed.

Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ ibm.biz/BdYSYj and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at ibm.biz/BdYSZT

ACS upload may be a little slower than a native ftp solution. However, it should not be as slow as indicated in this RFE unless you have logging enabled. Please make sure you have logging turned off at Edit->Preferences "Logging level".

If the performance is still unacceptable, please provide exact times and file sizes for both ACS and FileZilla.
