Able to Enable Save Results and Save Results via scripting in Run SQL Scripts

I would like to distribute SQL scripts to users that can do everything to create an Excel file. Enable Save Results, run an SQL statement, and Save Results.


Use Case:

Even though users have IBM i ACS, they still ask IT to run simple SQL statements and save them to Excel.

    The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a MEDIUM priority requirement that should be addressed. Having a solution to meet this need seems like a good idea. However, we have voted medium as we would like IBM to focus on other prioriries at this time.

    Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

    Unless the option /sql can accept a stand lone script I think the option of CLDownload is not doing what is desired.
