Default certificates when installing IBM i and SSL/TLS turned on by default

If we are trying to push customers to use security it would be great to have a default certificate and SSL turned on by default on FTP(s) , TELNET and HTTP connections.

Use Case:

When we deploy an OS image in most cloud environments (IBM PowerVS and Skytap on IBM Cloud included) SSL/TLS is turned on by default.
I think it would be great to have the same default on on-prem environments.

IBM does not intend to provide a solution to this request, so it is being closed. As other comments have indicated, generating a self signed certificate without the correct system name and organizational information isn't considered secure. An administrator should set up system security including certificate configuration before making the on-prem system "active" in their environment.

Note: Generating a certificate at install time will produce a certificate that is not issued by a well-known certificate authority resulting in errors in browsers due to certificates being untrusted. Accepting the risk and displaying the content anyway is often what is chosen in these situations which is a poor security practice.

Default certificates will never be trusted by the client so they only confuse the enduser (and learn him to click on accept such warnings).
