IBM Access Client Solutions to Download a Spool File (Funktion WRKSPLF > PDF File) works correctly only with latin1 language

The i user has a SPLF in the OUTQ and wants to process it as a PDF file.

IBM ACS offers the possibility with the function WRKSPL > PDF this works error free if the used character set page belongs to the font family Latin 1 (1252 - Windows Western).

(The functions in the Operations Navigator for PDF creation are not an alternative here, this user interface is much too time consuming and complicated
for a normal user).

In an international company like Dachser, there are currently branches in the following character set regions:

1250 - Windows Central Europe
1251 - Windows Cyrillic
1252 - Windows Western
1254 - Windows Turkish

Therefore we need in the ACS function WRKSPLF > PDF besides the PDF button a "Button for using Infoprint Server" which this function from the Operations Navigator
converts the data correctly within the respective character set families.

Use Case:

The i user has a SPLF in OUTQ and wants to process it as a PDF file, even if the data is in Central Europe,
Cyrillic or Turkish character sets are present. ( all non-latin1 character sets )

IBM, the response below was a major deflection of your responsibilities. ACS should work for any language, and it its outright cheeky and dismissive to suggest 5722IP1.

First of all, who still uses 5722IP1? Is it even still available for ordering? If yes, at what cost, or is it one of the LPPs that are now free? Even then, what are the steps to use 5722IP1 to achieve the outcome the user wants with the same ease of use as provided by ACS for Latin1?

You really ought to re-open this RFE and reconsider it fairly.

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. After evaluating your submission, the decision at this time is to not provide this support.
The Infoprint Server LPP (5722IP1) can be used to setup conversion of the spooled files to PDF. If they are placed in an output queue, ACS can be used to download them using Printer Output.

The print files are not self-programmed, they are hardcopies from the OS/400 operating system.
