ESS: License keys

Trying to order keys for IBM i 7.4.
Go to ESS. Enter machine type and serial number. Tell it 7.4. See list of software including BRMS. Ask to "View Keysheet". Several products not included on the keysheet.
Revise to only select BRMS. Ask to view keysheet. Get message
5101: No software keys have been found for this machine. Please contact customer support for further information.

Originally got into this hot water because, instead of viewing the keysheet, I told it to install. I entered in my lpar name, user id, and password. It acted if it ran successfully, but it didn't tell me about the discrepancy between the list of software displayed and the missing keys.

Use Case:

Upgrade from IBM i 7.3 to 7.4

The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed.

Background: The CEAC members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ ibm.biz/BdYSYj and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at ibm.biz/BdYSZT
