Simple green-screen 'Readiness' command for PowerHA

Provide an OS/400 command that will check the readiness of a PowerHA configuration and return a 'ready' or 'not ready/attention' response.


Use Case:

Monitoring a PowerHA mirroring configuration is a manual process using green-screen or Web Navigator. Messages are posted if action is required, but there is no easy way to 'prove' that everything is working normally. This is something we have been asked by management at several customers.
Lab Services provides a readiness command in their CopyToolkit. Running the command provides a one line summary stating that the configuration is 'switch ready'.
Having this ability in PowerHA would not only be helpful for operators, but could provide an audit point to management.

    The PowerHA team is continuing to use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request. We continue to welcome additional feedback on how the data returned will be used. For example, is it to build historical reports, knowing at the moment in time the command is run PowerHA is ready to switch, or some other use case? This feedback will help us build a solution that best solves the challenges described.
