Enhance IBM i Tech Refresh 11 new view called SYSFILES to include the based on table if an index is being retrieved.

If I know the schema and name of an index within that schema I would like to be able to retrieve the based on table. This is the same as DSPFD *MBRLIST to an outfile and looking at MBBOF and MBBOL.

    This enhancement was delivered in May 2023 with IBM i 7.5 PTF Group level 4 and IBM i 7.4 PTF Group level 25.

    A new column describing the based on information has been added to QSYS2.SYSFILES.
