Provide a "not-in" operator

Now that we have a conditional “in” operator, please provide a “not-in” operator, that can be used wherever “in” can, eg, with %lists, %ranges, arrays, etc.

Currently, we need to code the awkward

if not (Value in %list(x:y:...));

with not-in, this would become

if Value not-in %list(x:y:...);

which is more in line with other IBM i languages.

    What does work is:

    IF NOT (XYZ IN %LIST('A':'B':'C'))....

    But this is indeed not so good to read.

    Thank you for taking the time to submit your request. After careful consideration, we know that we cannot deliver your requested enhancement soon, so it is being declined. However, your request does align with the future strategy of our product and we believe it may have future value, so we will add it to an internal list for us to keep in mind for the future.

    Continue to use the following syntax as a work-around:
    if not (Value in %list(x:y:...))

    "Not necessary, already functional as follows:

    if XYZ NOT (IN %list('A':'B':'C'))...."

    I tried this. It didn't work.

    IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating whether this request is feasible. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.

    I second this suggestion. It really increased readability.
