RSS Remember/reopen tabs

Hi,

In addition to https://ibm-power-systems.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/IBMI-I-1576 (auto saving RSS tabs) it would be great if RSS remembered which tabs were open and would reopen them when restarting RSS. In addition, unnamed tabs should also be stored automatically in some "work area".

Now I created files tab1, tab2, tab3, ... which get saved but which I need to reopen manually each time which is annoying.

Just look at how Notepad++ handles this as an example.

Kind regards,
Paul

The point is not that I "can" reopen tabs (I can do that anyway) but that they reopen automatically (clearly you didn't look at how Notepad++ implements this).

I therefore consider this idea not as delivered.

We have added support for Projects so it is now possible to save/restore open tabs.

The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority Idea that should be addressed.

This would be a huge time saver if run SQL scripts would remember which scripts we had open and would auto open them for us. Perhaps this can be a user preference setting.

The comparison to Notepad++ is interesting - I turned off saving what was open, but that's because I have no need for it.

So I suggest a preference setting for this.
