Allow CREATE OR REPLACE TABLE to set the correct source info in the resulting table

When we create a table using CREATE TABLE to create a new table, the object description of the resulting table contains the source information for the source member used by RUNSQLSTM to create the table.  When we use CREATE OR REPLACE TABLE to replace an existing table, the resulting table contains the unaltered source information from the prior CREATE TABLE.  It would be more useful to store the information for the source member actually used.  Many "x-ref" type products use this information to locate the source code for a given object and leaving the prior source information there misleads them.

    Thank you for the details on how you do the modification and verify the source file.

    When we were trying to recreate the problem, we were looking at the source file information using the QSYS2.SYSFILES view. The source file information always appears to be correct through this interface.

    Using your recreate instructions which point to the DSPOBJD CL command, we can see the misleading source file information. These values are returned by the QSYS2.OBJECT_STATISTICS table function as well.

    We are doing some additional investigation now to determine what we can do to correct the source file information shown by DSPOBJD. This Idea will be updated again once we have completed this evaluation.

    Thank you again for the detailed script which pointed out the difference in our verification step.

    IBM needs additional information about the steps that cause the source member to not get updated. Once we get the details, we can determine how to resolve this Idea.
